Classic Armor

The Classic armors from Yuanjia “缘甲” are characterized with the hineno-jikoro style helmet (kabuto), which are shaped according to the shape of heads with one iron sheet. This kind of helmet was popular during the later part of the sixteenth century in Japan. There are cotton clothes inside the helmet which keep some space between the head and helmets. These kind of designs make the helmet extra protection from heavy stick, more fitting and lightweight, which make the suit more comfortable when wearing.

Ghost armor (Bugyo armor)

The Ghost armor (Bugyo armor) from Yuanjia “缘甲” are characterized with head-shaped (Zunari) style helmet (kabuto) with a Ghost in front. The helmet of Bugyo armor are well designed with three iron plates, one in the middle riveted with the other two on each side, which offers more comfort and protection in fight. Except ghost, sword, lance and arrows are all can be placed in the front as a symbol of the families or your special status. There are also cotton clothes inside the helmet which keep some space between the head and helmets, which can provide additional protection, more comfortable fit to different sizes of heads. The tiny holes of the clothes allow the head to breathe and help prevent overheating.

The Ghost armors (Bugyo armor) also feature a traditional chest armors (Do) with rivets on them (Yokohagi Okegawa ni-mai Dô). This craft was popular in the Warring States (Sengoku) period in Japan.

Horns armor (Bugyo armor)

The Horns armor (Bugyo armor) from Yuanjia “缘甲” are characterized with head-shaped (Zunari) style helmet (kabuto) with Horns on each side. The horns are all from real ox horns which are carefully selected and shaped.The decoration of horns make the armor looks more threatening and powerful. The other parts of the helmet and body armors are just as the Ghost armor (Bugyo armor), three-plate helmet and rivet-fixed chest armors.

Knotted Armors (Daimyo armor)

Knotted Armors (Daimyo armor) from Yuanjia “缘甲” are made and design as a term to commemorate Shogun Daimyo who were feudal rulers from the 10th century to the middle 19th century in Japan. The crafts of knotted Armors (Daimyo armor) are characterized with unique helmet with embroidery as decoration. There are many laces with different colors used to knot each parts to form the total of the chest armor (Do)
